New specifications have been added to the lineup of ROBODRILL α-DiB Plus Series Advanced version. - Y-axis stroke is expanded to 500mm (L type). Machining mode setting function of ROBODRILL enables you to switch machine parameters according to machining purposes, such as cycle time reduction, high-precision machining, or high-quality processing. - The number of adjustable parameters in the machining modes has significantly increased and new machining modes (parameter sets) incorporating the latest FA functions are available. As a result, the effects are further improved and it contributes to solve troubles in machining. - By newly developed user-friendly screen with a human-centered design (HCD) approach, optimum machining mode can be selected easily and reliably. - An adjustment screen is also provided to fine-tune the machining mode according to users’ preferences. The guidance menu which relieves misoperation and the radar chart which displays the effects visually makes it easy. |

The FANUC CNC’s Digital Twin assists in efficiency improvement and optimizing work in machining site. By integrating FANUC’s CNC technology with digital capabilities, based on feedback from machine tools, through simulations and other digital techniques, it enhances efficiency, convenience, and machining performance across a range of tasks, processing, and maintenance. One of the function of the Digital Twin is “Surface Estimation”. It acquires simulated servo position data or actual servo position data from machine. Using this data, it estimates and visualizes the machined surface on PC. By identifying problem points, adjusting machining conditions, and modifying the processing program iteratively, it resolves issues. This PC-based validation reduces machine downtime, achieving efficiency and resource conservation. |
